Marina Club Lagos Resort

Marina Club by far has to be in the nicest location in lagos . Step outside the door to breathtaking views of the Marina . There are restaurants & bars on the marina . A short stroll into town & a large supermarket on your doorstep. The pool is beautiful. No rushing every morning for a sunbed ( this is a deal breaker for me ) . We didn’t surface till after 11am most morning and there were plenty of beds in our chosen location. They don’t encourage the dreaded reservation of sunbeds. The vibe is very relaxed. The poolside bar serves food/ drinks & ice creams. Though you must ask for the snacks menus ( a bit disappointed this wasn’t offered ) otherwise the menu is more restaurant lunch & reflected in the price . The restaurant is open for breakfast & dinner also. The apartments & rooms are very well equipped. We traveled as a family & booked one of each . They are spotlessly clean & serviced every day . They are both of a very high standard . I would highly recommend paying extra for a pool or marina view . The staff are very welcoming & super friendly.

Excellent, quiet location with restaurants and supermarket nearby. Very helpful and friendly reception staff. Bus terminus 10 minutes walk away, so didn’t use a car. Magnificent coastal walking.

Our first time visiting Lagos and it did not disappoint! The location of the Marina Club Resort is fantastic, close to restaurants on the Marina or walk a little further (approx 15 mins) to the old town. The resort is about a 5 min walk to the supermarket. We stayed in a 2 bed apartment. It was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. We had requested a cot, baby bath and high chair which were all there when we arrived. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The pool area is also open to day visitors so can get quite busy, especially if looking for loungers under an umbrella for a baby or children. Overall, a very pleasant stay!

I recently stayed at Marina Club Lagos Resort and had a wonderful experience. The resort's proximity to the station, just a 5-minute walk away, was extremely convenient. The impressive marble staircase to the reception added a touch of elegance, although it might not be ideal for heavy bags. Arriving before check-in, I was pleasantly surprised by the option to use the pool and spa towels, a perfect way to unwind after a long train journey. Upon receiving the call that our room was ready, I was amazed by the spaciousness of the suite on the second floor. The living room with a kitchenette and balcony was a highlight. The room configuration worked well for our family, but the sofa bed might not be comfortable for adults. While the Wi-Fi was strong in the living room, it was weaker in the bedroom. A major plus was the supermarket, Dolci, within walking distance. The pool area provided a great space to relax and cool down. Overall, Marina Club Lagos Resort offers a pleasant and convenient stay, with a few minor improvements to consider. I'd recommend it for anyone visiting Lagos.

Lovely spacious 2 bedroom apartment with large balcony, perfect for eating outside. Loads of wardrobe space. Pool towels supplied. Ideal location, right on the Marina with plenty of restaurants and bars and only a short 10 minute walk to the town centre. There is also a very large supermarket 5 minutes away. We had a birthday while there and the hotel kindly delivered a lovely complimentary bottle of iced champagne to the apartment.
